Martin Flynn (Scenic Design) is thrilled to be working with this fantastic team on Soren’s new play. Martin is the resident set designer for Bay Area Children’s Theatre (B.A.C.T. ) where he has designed their last 15 shows including Three Little Birds, Where the Mountain Meets the Moon, and James and the Giant Peach, which is currently playing in China at the Shanghai Children’s Art Theatre. Martin is the Technical Director, Scenic Designer, and Stage Craft instructor for the Chabot College Department of Theatre Arts in Hayward and is an Associate Artist for TheatreFIRST. Additionally Martin has designed for many companies around the Bay Area and beyond, including Douglas Morrisson Theatre, Shotgun Players, Just Theater, Berkeley Playhouse, Town Hall Theatre, A.C.T., U.C. Berkeley, Indiana University, and Montclair State University. He would like to dedicate his work on Demetrius Unbound to his son Linus, his girlfriend Angel, and her daughter Masha.
